Largecleaning deep

There are a few different ways to start incorporating deep cleaning into your home maintenance routine. If you've ever done somespring cleaning, that's great! Spring is the perfect time to declutter, clean, organize and tidy, but you should also deep clean more than one season a year. One schedule you may choose to follow is seasonal, approximately one weekend of deep cleaning every 3 months. Another option is to break your deep cleaning checklist into smaller monthly or weekly tasks, tackling one room per month or 1-2 tasks per week, so you can reduce them on an ongoing basis.| ||65

  • “One for one” means equal parts. When making vinegar spray, start with one cup of vinegar and one cup of water, then increase in equal parts depending on the size of the cleaning task. Always label your spray bottle with the solution it contains.

Tip:If you are sensitive to the smell of vinegar, you can add a few drops of any essential oil (like citrus or lavender) to temper the aroma. A squeeze of lemon is a simple solution if you can't find essential oils.

Tip: Look for the gallon jar of white vinegar and the large bag of baking soda soda. Buying multiples of regular sized boxes is perfectly acceptable, but is more cost effective if you can find the large bag at your local store.

Note: Although it is great for cleaning, vinegar does not disinfect. Learn the difference between disinfecting, sanitizing and cleaning in our comprehensive guide.
